Privacy Policy

This page describes how VVS LAND collects, uses, and protects information you share when using our site.

Information we collect

Order details (name, shipping address, email) and payment metadata (processed securely by Shopify — we never store card numbers).

Analytics: We offer Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, a first-party analytics service designed not to use cookies and not to collect information that can identify you personally, as an optional category you control. We only initialize it after you choose "Accept Analytics" in our privacy choices banner or footer preferences — it stays off if you reject it or haven't decided yet. See our Cookie Policy for how to change your choice. When enabled, it's designed to record only aggregated data like which pages were viewed, general location (city/region level), device and browser type, and anonymous shopping interactions (such as viewing a product, adding an item to your bag, beginning checkout, or how many results a search returned) — never your name, email, address, payment details, or the text of anything you type — and to stop sending this data entirely when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, even if you've accepted. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or pixels (such as Google Ads, Meta, or TikTok) on the VVS LAND storefront.

Personalization: As a separate optional category you control, VVS LAND can order product listings using the recently viewed products already described below — for example, showing more jewelry or more watches first depending on what you've browsed. This only activates once you choose "Accept All" or turn Personalization on in Privacy Preferences; if you reject it or haven't decided, product order instead uses an anonymous, per-session shuffle that never reads your browsing history, held only in your browser's session storage and cleared when you close the tab. Turning Personalization on doesn't collect any new information — it only changes how information already stored in your browser (see Local storage below) is used — and it also stops if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, even if you've accepted.

Local storage: Your browser locally stores your shopping bag, recently viewed products, accessibility preferences (like reduced motion), and your privacy choices from the banner, so the site works smoothly between visits and remembers your choices. Recently viewed products, accessibility preferences, and your privacy choices stay only on your device. Your shopping bag syncs with Shopify's cart system, the same way described above, to keep checkout working. None of this is sold or shared with third parties beyond what's already described in this policy.

Cookies: Shopify, which powers our checkout, sets its own cookies as part of that process — these are controlled by Shopify, not by VVS LAND's own website code. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use it

To fulfill orders, respond to support requests, send order updates, and — with your consent — send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Sharing

We share information with service providers required to fulfill your order (Shopify, shipping carriers) and as required by law. We don't sell your personal information.
