Accessibility
VVS LAND is committed to making our website usable for all customers, including those using assistive technologies. This statement describes what we've actually built and tested, and is not a certification — we have not undergone independent, formal conformance testing against WCAG or another accessibility standard, and do not claim to fully conform to one. This page describes our real, current implementation so it stays honest as the Site changes.
Preferences
Keyboard navigation
Menus, buttons, product filters, sort controls, the cart drawer, and form controls are operable by keyboard. Modal-style panels — including the mobile navigation menu, the cart drawer, and filter/sort dropdowns — trap keyboard focus while open, move focus into the panel when it opens, restore focus to the control that opened it on close, and can be closed with the Escape key.
Screen readers & semantic structure
Pages use semantic HTML landmarks and heading structure, and interactive controls (menu buttons, dialogs, quantity steppers, remove buttons in the cart) carry descriptive accessible names rather than relying on icon appearance alone.
Focus management
Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator when navigated to by keyboard. Opening a dialog-style panel (mobile menu, cart) moves focus into it and returns focus to its trigger when closed, so keyboard and screen-reader users are never left without a clear position on the page.
Motion & reduced motion
Animations on the Site are intentionally subtle by default. If you'd prefer less motion, use the Reduce Animations control above — we do not automatically disable animation based on your operating system's reduced-motion setting, so this is an explicit choice you control here.
Zoom & text resizing
The Site supports normal browser zoom and text-resizing; layouts are built to remain usable as text size increases, though we have not exhaustively tested every page at every zoom level.
Forms & error messages
Form fields (contact, newsletter, order tracking) use associated labels, and validation errors are presented as visible text rather than color alone.
Language & right-to-left support
The Site is available in multiple languages, including Arabic with a right-to-left layout. Core navigation and shopping flows are built to mirror correctly in that layout; if you find a spot where they don't, please let us know using the contact method below.
Checkout handoff
Checkout itself is handled by Shopify's own hosted checkout, which VVS LAND does not control the accessibility implementation of directly — accessibility feedback specific to the checkout page itself may need to be routed to Shopify as well as to us.
Known limitations
This is an active area of ongoing work, not a finished state. Known gaps we're aware of today include: some areas have not been exhaustively tested with a screen reader across every browser combination, and physical mobile-device accessibility testing (as opposed to testing in a desktop browser) has not been completed for every flow. We list these honestly rather than claim a level of testing that hasn't happened.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using the Site, please tell us via the Contact page, including the page URL and what happened — we'll look into it and aim to address genuine issues.
